The ACC Mayor & Commission held an emergency special session on Friday morning to pass a settlement with bar owners and an ordinance that now sets last call at 11:30pm.
“It is unfortunate that we will not have 10pm as last call as intended, but we will be able to reduce the number of hours that folks may be interacting indoors in an inebriated state,” says Commissioner Tim Denson. “By settling now, we are also able to ensure that all claims against the mask ordinance are dismissed before the Governor potentially changes is Executive Orders, keeping the ACC Mask Ordinance in place.”
With this ordinance and settlement in place:
- Last call is at 11:30pm; all patrons must be out of bars by midnight
- These times will remain in effect until 5 days after the expiration of the Judicial Emergency Order and any extension
- The ACC Mask Ordinance remains in effect
- Alcohol license fees for 2022 will be the same reduced cost they are for 2021
