District 5 Commissioner Tim Denson is hosting the next District 5 townhall on Zero-Fare Public Transit in Athens-Clarke County. We will discuss the ways that Zero-Fare Transit will benefit Athens-Clarke County residents and how we are able to “pay for it”.
We will have special guest, Chris Dowd from Athens Politics Nerd who has studied zero-fare transit extensively.
You must register for the townhall to attend (to keep out “zoom-bombers”). After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
